What stays with you, and what does not
Armilla is built so that this page can be verified rather than merely read. What follows are not copywriter promises: the tool table and the event list are derived from the same code that runs the calculation.
- There is no account. No sign-up, no password, no profile — so there is nothing to attach to you.
- Deterministic calculations run in your browser. Your birth date is needed by the arithmetic, not by us: it is not sent to a server.
- We do not sell or share data. There are no advertising trackers — which is why the product is free without a paywall, rather than “free because you are the product”.
Every tool and where it computes
These marks are not written by hand: each is derived from `executionMode` in the tool manifest — the same field the badge on the tool page is built from. Showing “on your device” for a server-side tool is technically impossible.
Analytics: the complete list
We look at whether a tool reaches its result, and nothing else. The events are declared in code as a closed list; anything outside it is dropped by the wrapper, and a test covers that. Duration is sent as buckets (“under 5s”) rather than milliseconds, so behaviour cannot be reconstructed from it.

The assistant is the one exception
When you ask the sky in words, your question goes to a language model: free text cannot be answered otherwise. So we do not hide it behind a blanket “nothing ever leaves your device”. Your birth date and time are NOT added to that request: the tool receives them from you directly, bypassing the model. Tool search on this site runs locally and makes no network calls.
Your switchboard
Only what you explicitly switched on is stored locally. The switchboard shows every field, and you can export it or delete everything in one move — no support ticket required.
